Coin and Banner is out
Our medieval sandbox RPG is out now on Steam for Windows and Linux. Start with a purse and nobody at your back, and see how far it gets you.

Coin and Banner is out on Steam, for Windows and Linux.
It starts small. You are nobody, with a purse and a road, and the first men you hire are names on a tavern board with a price beside each. You take bandit work with two or three of them. A year later you might be fighting beside a lord with a few dozen at your back, or storming a city's wall with your own.
What it is
A medieval sandbox RPG about raising a company. You hire men one at a time, train them, feed them and pay them, and lead them in side-view battles of hundreds. Every man has a name, a history and a temper. When one dies, he goes into the Hall of Banners and stays dead.
The world doesn't wait for you. Five realms make war and peace, caravans run the roads, bandits take what they can, and towns change hands. Serve a lord, sell your sword to whoever pays, or take land and hold it yourself. The crown is there for anyone who can take it by conquest, or win it at the Moot of Crowns.
What's in it at launch
- A full campaign from a nobody to a ruler, in a world drawn fresh each time
- Fourteen soldier types and fifteen techniques, from pikes and crossbows to battlemages and healing warders
- Sieges with ladders, rams and towers, and towns to govern once they're yours
- Seasons and weather, and winters that slow the march and empty the forage
- Full controller support and Steam Cloud saves
- Eight languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and Simplified Chinese
